C.A.R.E. Fair – HELP FOR SENIORS, THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS
Did you know that nationally, Canadians over 65 are just 19% of the population. However, on Vancouver Island, those over 65 are 26% of the population and in Sidney, those over 65 are 43% of the population.
The C.A.R.E. FAIR event focuses on services for “aging in place” and brings recognized agencies and service providers together to provide informed and valid information. There will be 11 presenters plus exhibits from 60 agencies and organizations which will benefit caregivers or anyone interested in what services are available for seniors in our area. This FREE event is sponsored by the Canadian Association of University Women, Saanich Peninsula branch. Visit their website for more detailed information including the list of speakers, organizations, agencies and vendors.
