Dean Park Covenants (Item #9) require that all signs erected in
Dean Park Estates be of a standardized design that has been
approved.
Any homeowner and any real estate agent who wishes to sell a
property in Dean Park Estates must use one of these signs.
Garside Displays, 1054 North Park Street, Victoria (250-385-4825),
makes the boards that display the name of the agent, or "For Sale
by Owner", and the phone number to call. These are all
standardized as to size and colour. You can either have one board
prepared to go on one side of the hanging sign, or you can have
two boards prepared so the information is displayed on both sides.
The cost is approximately $29.00 for one board, $48 for two boards,
plus taxes.
D&D Signs (250-478-4194) holds the inventory of posts and the
board with the logo that hangs from the post. The seller contacts
them to arrange to have the post and the base board installed. I
believe he will also pick up the boards from Garside Displays and
attach them to the sign. When the property is sold, the seller
phones D&D signs again and leaves a message instructing them to
remove the post and the sign. The total cost for this service is
approximately $80.00 plus taxes which includes rental of the post
and hanging board, installation of the sign and removal of the sign.
